Adam originates from Sydney and attended the University of Melbourne on a National Scholarship to complete the Bachelor of Dental Science. He initially worked as a general dentist in a wide range of settings for several years, including public hospital dentistry in regional Victoria and in private metropolitan Melbourne clinics, whilst also passionately teaching and examining dental students. After being selected into the competitive orthodontics specialty training program at the University of Melbourne, Adam graduated with the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry, Fellowship and Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He continues to be an active member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists and the Australian Dental Association. Adam also regularly provides lectures and seminars to dental colleagues and attends both local and overseas conferences to keep well informed with the latest in evidence-based orthodontics.

As a specialist orthodontist, Adam has extensive experience to provide individually customised treatment options for children and adults. These include conventional braces, lingual braces and clear aligners using the latest technology to carefully tailor to his patients’ specific needs and concerns. Adam is happy to take the time to outline his recommendations to ensure his patients understand the management plan. He also believes strongly in a multidisciplinary approach and will liaise with your general dentist to help bring about a sustainable healthy smile for years to come.

Outside of work, Adam and his wife Vanessa enjoy travelling and have also volunteered on trips to China and Myanmar to provide dental and medical treatment. Adam is also an accomplished musician, having performed on both piano and violin at some of the Australia’s most well-known venues, but is just as keen having friends and family around a piano singing pop songs from musicals. On the weekend, Adam can be found hiking in national parks and coastlines, BBQing in his backyard or just relaxing on the couch with Barcelona, his ginger and white cat.
